To say that Batman: Arkham Knight has been a PR nightmare for Warner Bros. is a bit of an understatement. But the company is throwing gamers a bone with a unique perk inside Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6 for the PC.
First, a little backstory. The Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6 actually used to be called the Community Challenge Pack, as Rocksteady, the game's developer, initially asked the community to weigh in on what kind of content they wanted in the DLC.

'In the Community Challenge Pack, we're bringing back classic environments from our previous Arkham games for you to play with all the new characters and moves from Batman: Arkham Knight,' read an October post. 'There will be six new AR Challenges added to the game, and we want your help deciding which locations to use. Rather than go into a full fan vote with hashtags, this thread is intended to act as the hub for discussion about the best challenge maps (or even just locations) from Rocksteady's previous Arkham games.'
Rocksteady asked for 'cool stories, fond memories,' and favorite moments from these areas in Batman: Arkham Asylum or Batman: Arkham City, and promised to 'update the community when we've reached a decision on which ones will be making it into the game.'
As it turns out, Rocksteady didn't just take fans' comments to heart when deciding what to put in the downloadable content. As Kotaku notes, quoting them whenever gamers load up one of the challenge pack's six new maps. Take, for example, the DLC's Crime Alley map:
'Crime Alley has always had a presence in the Arkham games. Being able to fight in the place where the Batman was born is something very special — CabooseXBL (Arkham Knight forum member),' reads one such description.

We don't recall any other triple-A titles that feature fans' comments quoted within the game itself, and it's a neat little perk that's likely to surprise the lucky few who have now been somewhat-immortalized within a fairly infamous game.
